A consulting firm based in Victoria Island Lagos has a vacancy for an Account /Admin officer. The Account /Admin Officer will perform administrative, accounting and office support activities which may include among other things taking telephone calls, corresponding with clients, maintaining the organizational filing structure etc.
A good working experience in the use of various Microsoft office tools is required.
Candidate must come from an Accounting background.

Responsibilities:
• To maintain ledgers, books and prepare checks.
• Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable record keeping.
• Prepare a detailed spreadsheet of all monies received and deal with all financial institution of deposits
• Consult with the budget, finance and audit departments in all account matters and also suggest budgeting strategies for expense.
• Manage and supervise the office drivers and assistants effectively
• Manage project accounts from time to time
• Handle all logistics and procurement within the organization and any other duty that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements:
Candidate must have:
• A B.Sc degree in Accounts or relevant financial field.
• At least 2-3 years experience operating in the same capacity
• Experience in project accounting
• Good communication and writing skills
• Hands on experience in people management.
