    Using Netbeans!

    Hi, my people in the house. can someone out there inform me on how to use JTable using Netbeans IDE to display data from the database in a tabular structure.

    Yes of course! using the mattisse gui builder packaged with the netbeans ide. You simply drag and drop the jtable component onto the stage. although you can easily bind a datasource to the jtable leaviong you with writing no code at all, i prefer coding it manually as tgis gives me alot of flexibility in the query results.
    You have to go into the code view get you connection, statements and then your resultsets and populate the Jtable cells and rows with the appropiate fields. sorry i will need to do alot of explaining to put u through complrtely. You have to understand both jdbc and Jtable class API very well to understand. post me back if you get the hang of it. cheers

    are you guys speaking in tongues!!!!!! , with all the beans scare in nigeria, you still talking about netbeans anyway sha introduce me to this stuff you talking about oooooooooooooo
