Civil/Structural Engineer – ONL 001

Position summary
The Civil/Structural Engineer will ensure that on-site construction work is carried out appropriately as being indicated in the structural/architectural drawing.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and designing of structures
• Supervise/inspect the construction of such projects to ensure that they are built according to carefully drafted plans
• Calculating the pressures, stresses and strains that each component, such as a beam or lintel, is likely to experience from other parts of the structure or from external pressures, such as wind and waves
• Ensure the safety and efficiency of building structures
• Work with architect in designing structures
• Decide the best materials and methods to use in building structure
• Use computer-aided design (cad) technology for simulation purposes

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree/HND Civil/ Structural Engineering or related field.
• At least 1year previous experience in construction environment.

Required skills and knowledge

• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD/ArchiCAD/Revit or similar applications
• Solid working knowledge of phases of building construction
• Proven Project Management skills
• Sound leadership abilities
• Excellent interpersonal, communications and presentation skills.

Architect – ONL 002

Key Responsibilities
• Designing new buildings and the spaces around them
• Design and modification of old properties and buildings
• Ensure that buildings meet the necessary standards
• Work closely with construction specialists , including engineers and surveyors on site and oversee projects from beginning to end
• Preparing and presenting design proposals to the client
• Using IT in design and project management, specifically software packages such as AUTOCAD and SKETCHUP
• Keeping within financial budgets and deadlines
• Producing detailed drawings from which costings are made
• Preparing tender applications and presentations
• Negotiating with contractors and other professionals
• Carrying out defect inspections

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree/HND Civil in Architecture or related field.
• At least 1year previous experience in construction environment.

Mechanical/Electrical Engineer – ONL 003
Position summary
The Mechanical Engineer will ensure that on-site construction work is carried out appropriately as being indicated in the mechanical/electrical drawing.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of specifications, drawings, list of materials and construction cost estimates
• Review all of the project’s mechanical design drawings and related documents
• Provide recommendation on the proposed design to produce adequate state of the art projects
• Supervise/inspect the construction of such projects to ensure that they are built according to carefully drafted plans
• Ensure the safety and efficiency of building structures in terms of electricity supply
• Work with architect in designing structures
• Decide the best materials and methods to use in building structure
• Supervises all equipments that will require electricity to function.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree/HND Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• At least 1year previous experience in construction environment.

Required skills and knowledge
• Knowledge in the design implementation of pipelines, firefighting and waste disposal systems and management
• Knowledge in the implementation of transformers circuits, wiring and like materials.
• Solid working knowledge of phases of building construction
• Proven Project Management skills
• Sound leadership abilities

Relationship Mgr/Admin– ONL 004

Position summary
As a Relationship Manager, you would also be required to manage, organize and supervise all of the administrative activities affecting the MD, as well as the company’s Management team.

Key Responsibilities


• Maintain relationship with clients, suppliers, contractors, and other external staff
• Provide information on all company products and services
• Compose standard letters in response to routine correspondence
• Type documents- labels, letters, envelopes, and invoices for internal and external purposes as may be needed
• Proofread and correct errors of documents
• Maintain and report expense account activity
• Set up and type financial and statistical reports
• Schedule appointments, meetings and conferences, and make travel arrangements including reservations
• Maintain, process, distribute, and update records, files, documents and mailing lists
• Prepare, process, and verify invoices, bills, checks and receipts
• Maintain inventory of office supplies, requisition new supplies and schedule equipment repairs
• Maintain locks and keys for storage cabinets and other facilities, and distribute to authorized parties
• Recruit and train new staff
• Process payroll records, handle cash and negotiable instruments.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree/HND Civil in Architecture or related field.
• At least 1year previous experience in construction environment.
