i thought the advert clearly stated that the vacancy existed for an accountant, so it doesnt
make sense when we begin to receive C.V's of micro biology, political science, english edu...etc
it really doesnt make sense.
It seems you are ignorant of the fact that an individual having sat and passed the prescribed qualifying examination of a Professional Body (ICAN - as applicable in this context), the fellow stands qualified irrespective of his or her 1st degree discipline/course of study. Therefore, such a person can perform the statutory functions of that Profession simply by virtue of his or her membership of that Body.
Please be guided accordingly!

am glad u didnt apply, cos wit dat attitude of 'urs u wouldnt last
long in dis organisation. we are lookin for qualified accountants with
yrs of experience. ICAN is only a plus and does not automatically
qualify you.

It's ignorance that makes the rat to invite the cat for a fight.
I cannot work in an organization such as yours (if it ever exist) where professionalism is sacrificed on the alter of mediocrity, and relegated to the background.
Please, kindly refer to my earlier reply on this issue and digest it as one that is lettered. You need to be informed aptly. There are some members in this house that are well-baked from various tertiary institutions from within and outside the shores of this country(Nigeria).
Moreover, some friends with relevant qualification (see your job requirements) did applied for this position and have not received any text message/mail as purportedly reported by you that applicants have been contacted.
Let us not cultivate the habit of using this platform to pepertuate unholy acts.
