The services of a Catering & Hospitality Standards & Compliance Officer is urgently needed by a multinational player in the upstream sector of the petroleum industry
Job Title: Catering & Hospitality Standards & Compliance Officer
Job Purpose:
-Drive a major change process towards setting Catering operation and maintenance standards across the 3 locations (East, West & Lagos) for both own
-operated and contracted-out - office, residential and central utility - assets throughout Nigeria with particular focus on compliance strategy, sustainability, quality and on-time service delivery.
-Custodian and responsible for compliance with established Catering / Hospitality standards, Codes, Regulations & legislations
-Guide the development of integrated Catering outsourcing contracts. Providing business expertise in the delivery of related services
-Establish Performance monitoring framework for Catering contractors / Service Providers, Third party & QA/QC contracts
Key Challenges:
-No uniform Catering standards in use across the locations in Nigeria.
Continuous incidents of food poisoning resulting from poor food handling
Influencing and driving efficiency through external services providers in a low trust market.
-Providing a wide range of services standard and ensuring ‘goal zero’ target with a large and diverse work force, including community workers.
-Develop strategy to grow community contractors with highly skilled and competent contractors while meeting Nigerian content development target.
-Maintaining harmonious community relationships with the Landlord Associations in the East & West.
-Need to improve attraction and productivity of skilled staff through enhanced service environment.
Rapidly changing business requirements and infrastructure management options for Nigeria.
Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
A University degree in Catering & Hospitality (Customer relations)
Minimum 12 years experience in Catering.
Proven Catering and Hospitality management experience.
Knowledge of sites operations and operating environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills in the service industry is desirable.
Demonstrated ability to manage in a complex and diverse environment.
Enhanced leadership, cost / budget management and commercial focus.
Strong strategic, planning, analytical skills and experience.

-HSSE in the business - HSE in contracts, incident investigation, unsafe act auditing.
