Union Banks GSE: Generosity OR some sort of Slavery?

It came as a happy surprise for most of us when GSE told us by SMS that Union Bank has paid for our GSE

Test. Infact, another hotjobber even told me that he wants to get a refund cos he has already paid before

he got to know about Union Banks offer. Their generous magnanimity was very pleasant to all and sundry.

Well, we all went and did the examination and 10-12 Mins later, the scores were SMSed to our phones.

Days later, I tried to use my score to make another application. I got the response, “Your score is not

available for any other Institution”. Men, it was unbelievable. But then on a second thought, I thought

they had to eat the first fruit of their labour.

Why I fault them is for not informing people prior to the Test that only Union Bank will have access to the

scores, so that one can choose to accept the free gift or decline and fund his GSE himself.

So, for everybody that partook in the test, your score will remain slaved to Union Banks whims and

caprices until they make a decision to call you for interview or drop you. Only God knows when?

And what should we term this? Generosity or some sort of Slavery?

If really this is true geraldo, though I partook in the test but have not tried to use the scores for other organisations sha and if its as U said, it is unfair. They are supposed to help we job seekers so that the 5k will be efficiently used coz it will be an advantage on the GSE's side and who knows, maybe they didnt pay the complete 5k and thats why we cant use the scores for another application??

    Dear Saks,

U might just be correct about that. Maybe they really didnt pay the whole money. Only God can tell what transpired.

But whatever be the case, we pray and hope for the best for all of us.

    Thanks for all ur contributions.

    Cheers.
