Job Objective

As the first person to have interaction with clients/visitors, the IT Support secretary holds an important position with the Company. S/he will exude confidence in her/is position as well as be friendly and helpful to all clients/visitors, making them feel welcome.
The main objective of the secretary is to communicate with the entire office regarding clients/visitors who call or come in to the office. Making the client/visitor feel comfortable is an integral part of this position. The secretary is also a supportive staff member to the IT Department, and may be requested to assist on routine activities and/or special projects.


Duties and Responsibilities

• Operates the telephone center permanently during working hours
• Organizes the flow of clients to the various departments
• Supplies clients with basic information concerning the services of the company
• Secures adequate quantities and a good presentation of information material
• Maintains the desired appearance of the Company office
• Assists the IT Department when requested
• Performs any other duties assigned by Management

Educational Requirements and Work Experience

• A minimum of HND in Secretaryship or other relevant qualification Secondary School
• Basic IT skills very important

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good multi-tasking & interpersonal skills
• Strong command of the English language
• Proficient Computer and Microsoft Office application skills
• Professional presentation and demeanor

Working Environment
• Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment
• Limited physical effort required
