JOB POSITION 1: SENIOR REAL ESTATE ANALYST
Job Description
We are seeking a mature professional with at least six years of relevant experience in real estate or financial investment analysis. Duties:
• Analyst will provide relevant and reliable data to support investment recommendations to developers. Develop custom financial models necessary to perform financial analyses to determine financial returns of prospective deals, equity splits, etc.
• Analyst is responsible for collection of market data and current events that impact the real estate industry and processing data into management friendly reports that reflect market trends and potential investment opportunities.
• Working directly with developers in assessing the financial viability of prospective development projects, acquisitions, and redevelopments.
• Performing financial analyses and due diligence on prospective investments
• Collect real estate market data and process into informative management reports
• Work in collaborative fashion with development team to qualify development ideas and package them for presentation to development board for approval to advance to feasibility stage
• Coordinating and overseeing due diligence for real estate development projects purchases and sales
• Prepare deal proposals for presentation to Development Committee

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or higher national diploma degree
• Skill in the use of Excel and creating financial models is required.
• Skill in conducting real estate development feasibility studies and analyses
• Ability to work on multiple tasks with multiple people
• Ability to investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• Creative thinker/self-starter/self-motivated
• Excellent organizational skills
• A candidate with a degree in real estate, finance, or related field is preferred but not required.
• Real estate or investment industry experience is a very strong plus

JOB POSITION 2: FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

Job Description
This position requires the candidate to have strong professional and managerial skills and have familiarity or be willing to become familiar with accounting for real estate related activities and the real estate investment and development industry. Candidate must have an interest in taking a lead role in developing and providing on-going improvement of financial office policies and processes.
The Controller will be responsible for supervising the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports along with financial management reports such as cash flow projections, budgets and variance reports. Also responsible for monitoring expenditure and liquidity, reporting financial performance to the board, and providing timely financial data to the COO and CEO. They will be responsible for interacting with lenders relative to administration of loans and making provisions for adequate operational funds.
The Controller will supervise and train an entry level accountant and lead overall accounting, reporting, and controller functions including accounts payables / receivables, setting up and keeping books for multiple real estate development special purpose vehicles (SPVs).
Will identify & implement systems or processes to maximize internal efficiencies, shorten reporting deadlines, and maintain integrity and accuracy of financial data. Work with management to identify appropriate staffing levels in order to meet current objectives as well as anticipated growth of the company.
Will maximize return on financial assets by establishing and enforcing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems that meet both Nigerian generally accepted accounting principles and international best practices.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or higher national diploma degree in accounting
• Chartered accountant
• 6 - 10 years of progressive, hands on experience
• Expertise in financial operations and understanding of the vital components of cash flow management as well as corporate finance
• Ability to form strong & effective professional relationships, both internally and externally
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Real estate or investment industry experience is a very strong plus.
