Re: PriceWaterhouseCoopers PWC recruiting Graduates Trainees
This isn't right. Opening for only those who are 25 or less? Alot of us would have been out of school long before we were 25 but no thanks to ASUU strikes: national and local and we ended up losing two sessions. Who's responsible for that?.... Then you have these folks telling us you must be 25 or less and probably with a first class or 2:1. It's not fair. Make this thing open let everybody apply and show what he/she's got to offer.Simple

Re: PriceWaterhouseCoopers PWC recruiting Graduates Trainees
O boy, thanks for your info.
Tell those shit of PWC to go and carry all their family that are less than 25yrs for the graduate trainees.
What is our problems in Nigeria?
Why, we Nigerian are like this? To be frank, Is it not this recent time that some guys are entering university/polytechnic? hee!!! Even those people advertising/staff working there, are they 25yrs when they are entering? Nigerian are fools, anywhere we are the head of one company or the other? All manner of lies is full of our mouth.
Even if you are under 25yrs, they will never call u. They are going to call there cousins and nephews.
So guy, if we have an opportunity to head one company or the other, ACT RIGHT.
BYE!
We that are 25 and above, God will give us our own jobs. Thanks

Re: PriceWaterhouseCoopers PWC recruiting Graduates Trainees
It is amazing that such adverts can be placed publicly. What is the average age of graduates in Nigeria? There is no gainsaying that most graduates of public schools may have spent two to four years after graduation from secondary schools before gaining admissions into schools. After spending 4-5 years (not to mention possibility of strikes, delay before NYSC postings, etc.), most Nigerian graduates are about 26 years or over. Maybe the Price Water whatever have their eyes on graduates from private universities. In other words, people from Fed schools like us should join the civil service or starve! It is well!

Re: PriceWaterhouseCoopers PWC recruiting Graduates Trainees

Re: PriceWaterhouseCoopers PWC recruiting Graduates Trainees
hey ppl,
don't get so personal with issues like this. I mean, are PWC the only employing firm in Nigeria????? Everyone can't work in the same place, they jst stated their requirements, even if they said max age should be 40, there are still folks over 30 who might fancy the job, dont u think?
i feel we should all look forward 2 a bright future, when one door closes, another opens ppl! Cheer up!!!
-
Re: PriceWaterhouseCoopers PWC recruiting Graduates Trainees
Haba pwc thats just not fair u guys have to be more flexible on the age thing cos it really doesnt make sense. does that mean its only 25 and below that gives the best output? i dont need the job oh, but the sake of other pple looking for jobs try and be nicer. ::)
-
Re: PriceWaterhouseCoopers PWC recruiting Graduates Trainees
I feel we dont av to be personal on this coy, Each organization has it's policy n procedures,
The fact that we might not meet the requirement shldnt make us say all those rubbish we are saying,
Being realistic there are still graduates of 25 n less,
So why complain, why not look for one that suite u,
Anyway watever u say will not change it....
so freind stop giving urself tension...... cos they'll get enuff pple for them to apply, young, fresh head n not stacks....
So take am easy ooooo

Re: PriceWaterhouseCoopers PWC recruiting Graduates Trainees
To be honest wit ourselve in this country is a vert diffcut thing to do for ourselve, 25 is relatively too young for this jobs and that is why you see fraud all over the place cos, nothing is astake for any one of them and again do they school in nigeria they don`t know what it takes to be agraduate in nigeria. Guys just keep trying and be prayerful our time shall come soonest.God dey

Re: PriceWaterhouseCoopers PWC recruiting Graduates Trainees
Mr Ihe and Jergins, you guys are just trying to deviate from the truth. Most especially Mr Ihe.
Are you trying to tell us now that you are a genius? The age you finished from school does not guarantee the fact that you were good. You were just privileged. The truth is I am pretty sure that it is either you are a product of one of these yet to be accredited 'New generation' Universities or you have special links to the University that made you get an admission fast.
How on earth are you supposed to graduate at age 20 if not for the fact that the strict JAMB rules are not obeyed. In the first place, you were not even supposed to be in a Nigerian Higher institution until you are 18. 18 + 4 = 22 [All things being equal]. You are not financially buoyant to go the Privates. You stay at home for 2 years and then School strike delays you for 1 year. Service year 1 additional year, you are 26 already.
PWC is not being realistic. 27 and below would have been very much Ok. I am sure some of their younger brothers, Cousins, Nephews and Relatives have already been recruited for the Job.They are just trying to fufill all righteousness.
But I still believe one thing that it is only 2 things that can actually stop a Man from being who he wants to be;
(1) If GOD ceases to be GOD.
(2) If one does not believe in himself.
As long as these two conditions are met, PWC is just not up to a tip of the Ice-berg.
Guys neither lose hope nor feel bad 'cos there is still God.

Re: PriceWaterhouseCoopers PWC recruiting Graduates Trainees
It is really disheartening that such things as this is been published in a page like this, if adverts like this persist, many Nigerians will end up lieing by reducing their age which of course they have started doing. Even in the Banking industry they"ll say not more than 27yrs for Christ Sakes these people will not say that they are not aware of the NIGERIAN PREDICAMENT! All this should stop so we can have a very sincere environment devoid of all kinds of lies and decit to get a job.
If a 30yr old guy or lady is competent please allow the person o jare!
