Our client, a strong player in the energy sector is seeking an outstanding, purpose-driven professional for the following position:

FINANCE MANAGER
Function:
The Finance Manager will be responsible for the identification, investigation and facilitation of investment deals from conception through to delivery.

Responsibilities:
The Finance Manager will therefore prepare business agreements and provide bid support for new business from Business Development to Programme execution. The successful candidate will manage the competitive tender process and provide support in negotiations.

Other responsibilities include delivering accurate and robust financial and management reports; monitoring operational performance; continually looking for improvement and new initiatives to optimize processes,

Qualifications & Experience:
A minimum of a first degree in finance or accounting.
Possession of ACA, An MBA would be an added advantage.
5 to 8l years broad experience in financial management and investment analysis including experience in budgeting, forecasting and reporting in order to ensure project delivery within budget.
Strong financial management skills with necessary knowledge, skills and expertise to undertake financial! accounting assignments independently.
Proven experience in proposal writing and in the preparation of tender documents.
Excellent generalist management skills are required In order to review current practices and implement Business Improvement strategies.
Excellent organisational and management skills with an ability to meet tight deadlines and to work under pressure.
Ability to develop project plans to achieve established objectives and time schedules.
Excellent computer skills which must include Excel and skills in database management and record keeping.
Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.
