  MEDIA COORDINATOR:
  
  He/she must be a professional media coordinator trained and experienced in purchasing media space or time as well as developing a media campaign that will be the most effective means for a client to get his message to the public.
  
  He/she must have the ability to multi-task, be detail oriented, and have the ability to articulate clearly.
  
  He/she must have a Bachelors degree with 2 to 4 years of field experience.
  
  GRAPHIC ARTIST II:
  
  Under general supervision, the incumbent will be responsible for developing materials that portray information and objectives through Web publications, print, PowerPoint slides, and elements. The incumbent will also be responsible for designing, producing, and maintaining the appearance and artistic vision of various research program Web sites. As part of these tasks, the incumbent will plan and compose original drawings and illustrations for advert displays and presentations; design and perform creative artwork for exhibits, posters, presentations, and advert displays; execute drawings and diagrams from descriptions and rough sketches; and digitally retouch and manipulate photographs and images for reproduction.

  * Must be able to commit to temporary assignment for a minimum of 3 months to 6 months. 40 hours (8-5) flexible schedule.
  
  * Must be able to work on occasional Saturdays

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Two years of art training, and a minimum of 2 years professional corporate graphic arts experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

* Experience in graphic design or desktop publishing, including developing graphics and layouts for both print publications and Web pages.

* PC and MS Office proficiency (including Adobe); Quark Express and Photoshop proficiency; proficiency in scanning software and other desktop publishing applications.

* Experience with Web editing applications such as Macromedia Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks, BeyondPress, Adobe GoLive, Macromedia Fireworks, etc. Proficiency with Web browser and publishing applications such as Netscape Navigator, Microsoft Internet Explorer, e-mail, Fetch, telnet, etc. Experience and working knowledge of various web servers and cgi environments.
