HEAD, IT-MTI/H0/05/09 -LAGOS
This role heads the information Technology department comprised in various groups charged with executing and controlling company’s IT operations, applications development and system support. The role is responsible for benchmarking, evaluation, selection and procurement of Hardware and Software. The role is heavily oriented towards formulating and implementing Company’s IS Investment strategies and projects. The role holder is also responsible for solving IT-related problems through the application of advanced analytical and innovative problem solving techniques.

Responsibilities
. Plan, lead and organise the activities of the company to ensure the company’s IT investments, plans procedures and programs are met

· Formulate and monitor implementation of new IT policies and procedures

· Evaluation, Selection and Purchase of Software and hardware

· Software licensing and maintenance contracts

· Lead IT related projects in the capacity of Project Manager

· Participate in the establishment and execution of Company level IT related strategies

Qualifications/Experience
Bachelors Degree in Computing or Information Technology with 8 years direct and relevant experience within the telecoms industry including 4 years in Senior Supervisory position. In addition to it, you should have specialized training in programming, System Analysis, IT Project Management and IT Strategies and also, experience in implementing financial application packages would be an advantage.
