Job Description
As a member of the Management and Internal Control Unit, the individual would be responsible for the following:

* Assist in the planning phase on assigned segments of an audit.

* Assist in the process of evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.

* Execute detailed audit procedures, including reviewing transactions, documents, records, reports, and policies and procedures for accuracy and effectiveness.

* Prepare work papers which record and summarize audit procedures performed.

* Assist in developing recommendations for corrective action/improvement.

* Provide assistance to external auditors as requested.



Qualifications

* The candidate must have a first degree in Accounting, with at least 3 years working experience in an audit firm.

* Responsibilities will include conducting in-depth research and valuations of Nigerian companies.

* Maintaining industry sector information and analysis.

* Participating in market meetings.

* Portfolio modelling, construction and analysis.

* Executing transactions; and

Qualifications

* HND/BSc (no less than Upper Credit/2:1);

The successful candidate will be an entrepreneurial team player to provide support for research and market analysis on the Nigerian property market and sectors covering various property classes.


As a member of the Investment Group, the individual would be responsible for the following:

* Responsibilities will include conducting research into the property markets for investment by the group.

* Produce property/property development appraisals in a consistent manner and assist in the coordination of the on-going appraisal process for existing and new business opportunities.

* Combine the output of all projects (existing and potential) into an effective business plan model, which is to be updated on a quarterly basis.

* Ensure all project appraisals are updated on a monthly basis to provide up-to-date financial and project performance information for use at internal project reviews.

* To provide and help develop a database of quantitative and qualitative information on the property market.

* Fundamental investment & economic analysis of the property market, companies, sectors and funds.

* Work hand in hand with other members of the Investment Group in top down analysis for the investment management of funds.

Qualifications


* The candidate must have O'Levels;

* BSc;

* Willing to study for the CFA exams.

* Managing existing customers in the team (direct and through brokers).

* Identifying prospective corporate customers and developing marketing strategies for securing their account.

* Supervising, training and development of junior colleagues in the team.

* Managing and executing the team's budget and targets for the year.

* Liaising with customers for feedback on company service standards.

* New product development based on timely customer feedback.

* Development of sales and marketing strategies.

* Manage and maintain weekly, monthly and all required sales reports.

* Forecast potential sales.

* Any other assignments given by the Group Head, Corporate Business Group.

Qualifications


* Candidates must have a first degree.

* At least 7 years combined sales and underwriting experience.
