A vacancy has arisen in a telecoms infrastructure company for an Intern in the Engineering department. This opening is for fresh graduates who are currently in the NYSC program. This is an opportunity for technically sharp candidates, who show eagerness to learn and have at least an evidence of additional personal learning such as a relevant professional certification or training.

Job Summary

• Interns will understudy support engineers and build capacity in product knowledge, installation, maintenance and support
• Interns will leverage on their basic understanding of Linux, Unix and Windows Server OS
• Interns will manage office Servers, LAN (voice and data equipments)
• Work closely with Contracts & Projects department with a view to understanding and supporting project operations.
• Handle queries as well as client support call-outs with close supervision of support engineers
• Perform research, compile service portfolios and proposal preparation
• Other work responsibilities as assigned by line managers.

Essential Requirement

• A Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Computer, Power, Electrical-Electronics Engineering
• Basic knowledge in the following is highly required
I. GSM and CDMA knowledge
II. Basic Power Solution System
III. Network Administration and Management
IV. Knowledge of Linux, Unix, Sun Solaris and Windows Server 2003 OS,
• Experience in managing projects an advantage
• Good Interpersonal and Communication skills
• Ability to work independently, responsibly and with self-discipline
