SUMMARY OF THE OVERALL JOB ASSIGNMENT
Reporting to the Head, Finance, the role will support business planning, financial operations, financial reporting, accounting, accounts payables, expense management and cash control processes. The candidate must have and be able to demonstrate very strong analytical skills combined with advanced knowledge of financial analysis and management tools and best practices. The candidate will be technically very proficient and will be expected to support core business functions and processes across the organization The position offers the right candidate a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and develop technically and professionally under the mentorship of a team of highly accomplished corporate and structure finance specialists. MAIN ACTIVITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
? Take ownership of financial models used to evaluate investment opportunities, manage corporate and structured financing strategies, track and forecast revenues, expenses and headcount.
? Assist with the preparation, analysis and consolidation of periodic financial statements across the group.
? Support all statutory, financial, legal and official compliance activities.
? Demonstrate understanding of key business drivers and performance metrics. Investigate and research trends and anomalies early and communicate to executive management.
? Prepare materials for periodic business reviews with executive management.
? Provide transactional and operations support in several enterprise process areas – procure to pay, order to cash and payroll.
? Develop and implement financial process improvement and optimization initiatives in support of effectiveness and efficiency improvement objectives.
Take a lead role in an ongoing implementation of an enterprise, financial and business management and reporting application.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS & PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES:
? Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting
? ICAN, ACCA, CIMA (or similar) student or qualified, MBA preferred

EXPERIENCE:
? At least three years’ hands-on all round experience working in a Finance/Accounts department
? Experience with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
? Experience in interacting at very senior levels of management

? Demonstrated ability to manage time around a fast paced and dynamic reporting cycle.
? Must be able to identify trends and draw conclusions from large data sets.
? Ability to condense complicated issues to concise explanations.
? Ability to build and manage robust financial models using Microsoft Excel.
? Proficient with –ERP-package (Oracle, SAP, Sage, MS Dynamics)
