EXECUTIVE SECRETARY TO THE MD

To act as the executive Secretary as well as Personal Assistant to the MD
Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Key Responsibilities/Skills

The successful candidate will be expected to
• Liaise with a wide variety of individuals, organizations, foreign clients and other staff and deal with matters of confidential nature
• Arrange travels and accommodations for the MD and other foreign Directors of the company
• Screen telephone calls, enquiries, requests and handle them if not necessary to escalate to the MD
• Organize the MD’s diary, schedules, book appointments and organize meetings as well as book conference calls via the Internet
• Take dictations, take notes during meetings, present general assistance with presentations and write letters and reports
• Maintain administrative and clerical systems including filing systems within the MD’s office
• Organise and ensure the manager is well-prepared for meetings
• Deal with incoming emails, faxes and telephone calls and reply them when appropriate
• Organise and store paperwork, documents and computer-based information
• Maintain the MD’s petty cash ledger

Other Requirements:
Excellent computer skills to include: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Confident , Excellent communication and organisational skills, Reliable, self motivated and willing to learn, Meticulous, Professional, Effective and Efficient , Enthusiastic approach to work, Good team work and people management skills abilities, Very good typing skills, Integrity, Diplomatic, Good spoken and written English
Educational Qualification:
The right candidate should posses a good first Degree in any of the arts subjects and should be between the ages of 26 and 32 years
