Position: Corrosion Control Engineer/Inspector

Brief:
Alduco Energy Ltd is a 100% indigenous company setup to provide corrosion control services in Nigeria. It has partnered with Deepwater Corrosion Services (Houston) USA, (www.stoprust.com), who is a leader in the provision of corrosion control services worldwide. Deepwater´s clients include all the top oil & gas companies in the world.

You will be expected to carryout corrosion control duties mainly in Nigeria with some scope to work in Equatorial Guinea and other countries, as directed by Alduco Energy Nigeria and it partner Deepwater Corrosion Services (Houston) USA.

You will also be trained by Deepwater Corrosion Services on corrosion control techniques, their innovative products and services. This will all be done in accordance with international standards.

Description of duties:
Corrosion Management, CP Survey, Monitoring and Measurement.
Cathodic Protection Systems Design, Retrofitting, Installation, testing, etc. according to NACE standards.
Surface preparation and Coating of production/infrastructural facilities according to SSPC & NACE Standards.
Condition Monitoring of Production Facilities.
Facilities (Pipelines and Vessels) Integrity Systems.
Underwater (Subsea) Inspections.

Qualification: First Degree and above
Required Certificates: NACE, SSPC or equivalent
Number of years of experience: Three (3) and above
Field of experience: Oil and Gas onshore and offshore facilities
Computer knowledge: MS Office.
Language: English

Knowledge Required:
1. Cathodic Protection Systems Design, Installation, Testing, etc. according to NACE standards.
2. Level 1 Topsides inspection
3. Level II-IV Subsea experience
4. Surface preparation and Coating of production/infrastructural facilities according to SSPC & NACE Standards.
5. Conversant with international design standards & codes

Skills:
1. Excellent command of Cathodic protection, Surface treatment and protection, Surveying/ Inspections etc
2. Project management
