The ideal candidate for this position will substantially satisfy the following parameters:

Qualification

A good University Degree or Higher National Diploma in accounting from a reputable institution is essential.
A working and demonstrable knowledge of the PEACHTREE Accounting package is not only necessary but also mandatory
Experience

A minimum of two years post-qualification exposure and quality experience from similar organizations is required. A part from having flauntable credentials, candidates must have sufficient technical and administrative prowess.

Age: Not less 22years

Others:

The candidate we desire will have good analytical mind, be a good and timely decision maker with essential leadership qualities.

KEY COMPETENCIES

The ideal candidate must possess a vast knowledge of tax practice and management in the Oil and Gas sector.
He must also be knowledgeable in budgetary preparation and control in addition to general knowledge of Exploration and Production accounting principles.
A sound knowledge of store management and control is essential for the job.
B.Sc. Accounting with a minimum of second class upper division (2: 1)
Professionally qualified with ACA.
Must not be more than 30 years of age.
Ability to work in an electronic data processing environment. Knowledge of SAP Business 1 will be an advantage.
Minimum of 3-5 years cognate experience in Oil & Gas or in a reputable Audit firm.
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Possession of MBA will be an added advantage
