Telecommunication Equipment Engineering (Fundamentals) Curriculum Telecommunication equipment engineering (TEE) provides comprehensive overview of telecommunication system, including GSM system, 3G system & CDMA systems. Included in the modules are practical approaches adopted by telecommunication industry, explanations and description of telecommunication terminologies and equipments used at cell site. TEE course is a course for those who seek to build a career as a BSS engineer, it will give you the foundational and mid level skills to jump start your career Course Modules Module 1: Telecommunication networks; Generational evolution; Network Architecture; Physical and Logical Channels. Module 2: Introduction to BSS: Definition of BSS; Functions of BSS; Module 3: Nodes in BSS (BTS, BSC, Transcoder and PCU); Functions of the various nodes in BSS; Module 4: Protocol Stacks; BSS Interfaces; Application Parts; BSSAP, MTP, DTAP; Module 5: Modulation; Modulation Types and Techniques; Access technologies and Modulation Schemes; Voice and Channel Coding; Speech Coding and Advanced Speech Coding Module 6: BSS Installation and Implementation. Equipment description, Implementation Scenario and Standard operating procedure for the Equipment Module 7: Antennas and Impedance Matching; the Concept of VSWR; Using the Site Master Telecommunication Equipment Engineering (Advanced) Curriculum TEE is designed to give a comprehensive overview of telecommunication system, GSM system, 3G system & CDMA system.
