Laser Petroleum Geosciences School is a government accredited vocational centre designed to bridge the gap between university class room learning and the oil and gas industry required skill. We have trained over 30 graduates and have recorded over 98% graduate placement.

We currently offer admission to Engineering and Geosciences Graduates into our six months Petroleum Geosciences Program. For 2011/2012 session, the training covers both the teaching of theoretical concepts and practical work that will result to development of competence in the usage of the following software:
Petrel, GeoGraphix, Eclipse, Perform, Sapphire, MBAL, PROSPER, PAN System, Hydrocarbon Data System (HDS).

The programme also includes: General Health Safety and Environment (HSE), Technical Report Writing and Presentation Skills, Introduction to PVT: Analysis and Modeling, Reservoir Geology, Reservoir Engineering, Formation Evaluation, Static and Dynamic Modeling. There is also an industrial module that will last for one month and students will carry out a group project with live data.
Registration has commenced into our Petroleum Geosciences School Lagos centre which starts lectures on 4th July 2011.
