Job Position: AirOps Field Officer
Job Description:
  • coordinates all ramp activities and aircraft ground operation
  • supervision of daily workers hired for the purpose of lading/off-loading of ICRC aircraft
  • coordinates the movement of passengers, baggage, cargo and the mail through the airport and process theses through customs and immigration
  • organised the fueling of the ICRC aircraft and coordinate with other agencies at the airport such as customs, airport authorities and security
  • obtain airport passes for vehicles needed to enter the airport and monitors with the crew changes and or amendments to the procedures
  • process all passengers and cargo through the airport and channels all relevant information related to aircraft operations
  • followup aircraft movement to/from Abuja and within points in Nigeria so as to relay information about ICRC aircraft and liaise with all air field stations
  • assists the delegation in the coordination of emergency/med-evac operations by air

Qualification:
  • Diploma in aviation and or business management
  • or combination of education / professional training
  • driving licence for manual transmission vehicles
  • good communication skills
  • knowledge of aviation technical terminology an advantage
  • computer literate
