Job Position: Purchaser/Logistics assistant
Job description:
- assist in Local purchase orders (LPO)
- ensure orders are delivered on time and items meet specification
- prepare each purchase order(PO) file according to ICRC standards
- follow up on final payment with finance
- in the case of petty cash purchase , physically visit the local market in order to procure goods
- updates and maintains knowledge about main suppliers, and check the market for potential new ones
Qualification:
- B.Sc degree , some college course work completed, an associate degree or its equivalent in administration , logistics , purchasing or a smilar field
- good communication in English both oral and written
- Computer literate
- good in negotiation communication ability to express views and ideas
- goo knowledge of the local market
- capacity to integrate ICRC logistic procedures
