Job description
Executive Housekeeper is responsible for the monitoring of cleanliness and efficient operation of the Housekeeping Department, including guest rooms, public areas and hallways, pest control, laundry, and the linen rooms.• Laundry Facilities and Operation
• Housekeeping and Operation,
Housekeeping Administration (department scheduling, payroll, monitoring O/T, guest issues/requests)
• Deliveries and Linen Stores
• Responsible for scheduling staff in their assigned section(s) as well as timesheets are filled out properly and in accordance with the numbers of hours worked.
• Conducts daily inspections of assigned guest rooms and surrounding areas, including vacant, made-up and turned-down ones, to ensure the standard of cleanliness is maintained at all times. Special attention is given that supplies are replenished, rooms are properly serviced and trolleys are properly stocked.
EDUCATION:
• 2-year Associate’s degree or equivalent in Hotel Management from a recognized hotel institution, and at least two years experience in Hotel establishment positions.
• Must be able to efficiently organize and supervise a housekeeping staff
• Fluent in English; Speak, Read, Write
• Reporting, Budgeting, Forecasting Skills
• Possesses Coaching and Training Skills
• Position requires and compliance, as well as managerial, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Computer Skills: Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel, Fidelio, Micros, Payroll worksheets.
