We seek applications from qualified candidates for the following positions on the Global Fund malaria project

Responsibilities:
Create and maintain project plan that communicates tasks, deadlines, status and track project milestones and deliverables at zonal level
Implement systems that enhance project performance (quality, timeliness and cost)
Ensure availability and allocation of all resources/materials required to meet project requirements and expectations
Represent ARFH in all meetings with State Ministry of Health, development partners and other stakeholders at zonal level without compromising ARFH core values and principles
Support and guide States in developing operational work plans on Malaria activities.
Meet regularly with State and Local Government Area (LGA) focal person to discuss Malaria activities in the State
Advocate for support for Malaria activities with State and LGA policy makers and community leaders.
Provide oversight functions on monitoring of all Malaria commodities (ACTs/LLIN) distributions in the State as well as participate in DQA and surveys related to Malaria activities

Qualifications and Requirements:
MBBS or a Masters degree in Social Sciences with at least 3 years post National Youth Service experience in donor funded health projects in Nigeria.
MPH is an added advantage.
Applicants must possess strong leadership and institutional capacity strengthening skills with ability to relate effectively with development partners, Civil Society organisations and Ministry of Health at the State level.
Strong advocacy, analytical, conceptual and interpersonal skills are required.
Must possess excellent written and oral communication; and be a good team player.
High level of proficiency in computer packages and statistical software such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Epi-Info and SPSS is essential.
Experience and good understanding of Global fund principles and procedures are desirable.
Familiarity with local custom/tradition and language is highly desirable.
