Munchies Fast Food Limited, a key player in the Nigerian fast food industry, has since taken centre stage in the industry following its establishment in 1999. Munchies have always provided the best quality food and services to their numerous customers. However, in pushing professionalism to the limit and exploring some of the untapped areas in the hospitality industry, we require the services of performance-driven individuals to fill the following positions in our various outlets:

1. Job title: Head of Maintenance
Department: Maintenance
Reports to: General Manager

Key Responsibilities:
• Communicates directly with the operations department to coordinate maintenance and repair work in process areas.
• Communicates directly with QA department to ensure effective participation by the maintenance technicians in the implementation of QA policies and procedures.
• Assists with planning and implementation of facility improvements and expansions.
• Conducts employee performance reviews based on job descriptions to determine competency, knowledge, and contribution of the maintenance technicians.
• Maintains and updates operating and training manuals for the maintenance department.
• Ensures that all maintenance technicians are trained on the most updated version of the operating procedures.
• Reviews the operation of equipment and systems constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Establishes and maintains a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for tracking work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history of plant equipment.
• Prepares reports, analyzes data, and makes recommendations for improving production operations and solving maintenance-related problems.
• Ensures that maintenance technicians are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated so that the maintenance program can be accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.
• Maintains safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.

Job requirements:
• Minimum of a degree in Engineering preferred with demonstrated success in maintenance position.
• At least 7 years maintenance experience and 2 years experience in maintenance management.
• Strong organization and leadership skills
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and quality control fields.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes (food processing experience preferred, not required)
• Knowledge of process-packaging-service equipment
• Experience in a management role required


2. Job title: Marketing Manager
Department: Marketing
Reports to: General Manager, Operations

Key Responsibilities:

• Establishes marketing goals to ensure share of market and profitability of products and/or services.
• Develops and executes marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, to ensure the profit growth and expansion of company products and/or services.
• Plans and oversees the organization's advertising and promotion activities including print, electronic, and direct mail outlets.
• Works with writers and artists and oversees copywriting, design, layout, and production of promotional materials.
• Develops and recommends pricing strategy for the organization which will result in the greatest share of the market over the long run.
• Achieves satisfactory profit/loss ratio and share of market performance in relation to pre-set standards and to general and specific trends within the industry and the economy.
• Ensures effective control of marketing results and that corrective action takes place to be certain that the achievement of marketing objectives are within designated budgets.
• Evaluates market reactions to advertising programs, merchandising policy, and product packaging and formulation to ensure the timely adjustment of marketing strategy and plans to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
• Conducts marketing surveys on current and new product concepts.
• Prepares marketing activity reports.

Job requirements:
• Minimum of B.Sc. in Marketing or related fields with demonstrated success in marketing position.
• At least 5 years marketing experience and 2 years experience in a management position.
• Strong organization and interpersonal skills
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• A reasonable understanding of the QSR business.
• Experience in a management role required
