The Nigeria Program: URC is currently seeking an M&E Assistant to assist in the management of the strategic information aspects of the CDC-funded PEPFAR program for comprehensive HIV/AIDS care and treatment in Eastern Nigeria. The five-year program is currently in Year 4 and supports health facilities in Enugu and Ebonyi States and an office in Enugu. PEPFAR program areas under this program are: ART (adult and pediatric), PMTCT, HCT (counseling and testing), TB/HIV, Laboratory infrastructure, Basic Care and Support (adult and pediatric) and OVC. The M&E Assistant, like all other program staff will be based in Enugu.

Responsibilities:
The M&E Assistant will be responsible for the following:

  • Ensure the timely collection and validation of Monthly summary forms from all supported facilities
  • Ascertain the correctness and accuracy of submitted data
  • Assisting sites to update registers when needed
  • Data entry
  • Filing and proper organizing of paper based report
  • Distribution of data tools to supported sites
  • Perform other job related duties as assigned
  • Uphold the values and guiding principles of the URC HIV Nigeria project


Skills/Qualification

  • Organization, typing, data entry skills( Must be able to use Microsoft Office excel, EPI-Info, DHIS)
  • Attention to details, Confidentiality, Thoroughness, Analyzing information, Result Driven and Energy Level
  • Carry out multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Maintain Confidentiality
  • Communicates efficiency and effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Interact and maintain good working relationship with individuals with varying social cultural background


Education/ Experience

  • HND/BSC in Social Science
  • Two years experience in M&E related position
