JOB TITLE ;( Human resources & administration Manager)
Job description

  • The Manager, Human Resources & Administration will support the people management functions that underpin the organization business culture. With a strong and solid background in Human Resources management and administration, the responsibility holder will take a proactive approach in reviewing current HR and administration systems and procedures, making recommendations and implementing changes
  • He will also develop strategy that will lead to the recruitment and retention of high quality manpower for the delivering of the company’s objectives
  • The broad areas of responsibilities include: employee matters, compensation and benefits, reward, professional growth, communication, performance management and administration of support services

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement overall Human Resource plan for the organization
  • Attend management meeting and update management on any important Human Resources issues
  • Lead and direct the Human Resource team to deliver a comprehensive HR service to the organization.
  • Manage disciplinary, grievances, sickness etc. Measure employee satisfaction and identify areas that require improvement
  • Coach managers on performance management issues and processes
  • Provide guidance on development for managers and their teams
  • Implement training and development agenda for staff; identify areas that need attention and improvement
  • Manage talent and succession planning; taking overall responsibility for recruitment activity and campaigns
  • Reward, advise and support employees on company benefits

Qualifications/Skills:

  • BSc./HND in any of the Social Sciences, Post graduate degree.
  • Experience of dealing with senior and sometimes challenging individuals
  • Preferable to have experience in two or more of the following areas: human resources management, organizational development/change management, process improvement, compensation, staffing
  • Ability to mobilize the best people and integrating the tools and processes required to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Strong understanding of laws relating to employment
