AREA MANAGER, PUBLIC HEALTH – based in Nigeria: http://www.irisconsulting.info/index...ngs&Itemid=113
As an Area Manager for Public Health, you will be responsible for growing the business of Public Health product lines in the assigned area (specific regions) within Nigeria. The position reports directly to the Regional Area Manager, Public Health, Nigeria.

Responsibilities

As the Area Manager, you will:-
  • Implement the company’s Public Health strategy
  • Achieve overall annual budget for assigned territories and assist with preparation of budgeted revenue / targets for the company’s Nigeria Public Health division
  • Map relevant key stakeholders in Public Health in assigned area
  • Build and maintain good, strong and benefiting relationship with allocated institutional clients, international organisations, NGOs and other relevant stakeholders; develop and regularly update their database
  • Prepare objective driven travel plans executing and reporting with detailed analysis of the visits with a proposed way forward
  • Network and lobby within operational and compliant levels in donor organisations and procurement agencies
  • Assist with planning of marketing activities for assigned area
  • Monitor and analyse market trends
  • Responsible for receiving requests, issuing quotes, securing orders, coordinating final delivery and securing timely payment.

  • Strong sales skills / good technical background in sales and distribution

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health or related discipline
  • Masters in Business Administration, an added advantage
  • 3-5 years sales experience Public Health / Pharmaceutical / Water and Sanitation
