Entry Requirements
Recognition of Nigerian qualifications for Undergraduate Foundation Courses (1 year)
Academic:
  • A minimum of 5 credits in the SSCE, including English (and Maths for the science and engineering route)
English:
  • A minimum grade C6 in the SSCE

Recognition of Nigerian qualifications for graduate entry
Masters degrees (all one year)
  • Academic: Students must have achieved a minimum of a Second class Lower and above from a recognised university, If the course requires a minimum of a Second Class Upper, a 3.0 CGPA and above may be considered.
  • LLM: A Second Class Lower will be considered if student has successfully completed the Bar Exams.
Research degree (Mphil/PhD, 3 years)
  • Academic: The usual entrance requirement for a research degree is a master's degree with upper second class from a Nigerian university.
  • English: A minimum grade C6 in the SSCE

Foundation Programmes

• Choose the International Science and Engineering Foundation Programme (ISEFP) if you want to study for a degree in Engineering, Biological Sciences, Biomedical Sciences (leading to Medicine and Health professions), Material Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, Environmental Management or Business Management with a science subject such as Business Management with Statistics and Finance.

To qualify for admission you must have mathematics and science in one of the following: final year high school certificate, international baccalaureate (IB), five IGCSE subjects with minimum B grades or two international A levels.

This is a one year course which has two start dates: September and January. The January start ends in July so you may start your degree in September of the same year. To apply email: [email protected]
