Topic: Cambodia offer

I know some folks who almost fell for som cambodia offer, its most likely to be a scam. U can go ahead but dont reveal any of ur references or any other personal info, & once dem mention money even if its 1 naira. RUN!

@paulolawale9657, yes i actually saw the advert on this forum (naijahotjobs) and applied some 4months ago through a recruiting agent in Ghana (GR CONSULT), filled an online interview form and recently got a mail to get an international passport if i did not have at hand.
and now i received the offer letter in my box and another text on my phone on the employment offer at KHMER PETROLEUM LTD., cambodia.

@ poster, can u relate to us the contents of ur offer letter? and by the way, are u asked to come and resume in Ghana?

Man, it still could be real but i doubt! The probability of it been genuine is less than 5% but 5% is still something, so follow it up.

My broda na fraud. .co.cc sites most vac comin frm dat site ar scam. U wil b ask to pay money or b kidnapd.just b carefuln wit dem and dnt go dia alone if at al u wil go!

.co.cc is a new domain name recently available from some australian related colony. As its a new domain,most of the best website names will not be taken yet. As such, scammers will probably flock there to make fraudulent websites to dupe people of their money. Think about it, why would a job in cambodia have a webite that says australia?

Just a note to add: securing a job outside Nigeria is a lot more difficult than all these 'agents' make it seem. Think about it; if you have no SPECIALIZED skills, what are you going to do there that an indigene cannot do? Plus,most countries have laws that protect thre jobs of the country's citizens.
