Good afternoon team!!
How's everyone doing today?
Most of you know who I am.
For those who don't, I'm Luther Benson, Oriflame Director.
I'm sharing my story with Mrs Sharon's permission. She thinks it
may help someone, so we decided I should share:
I joined Oriflame in April 2015. I had just left another MLM
company where I lost a lot of money, I had no job, no money
coming in, my savings were rapidly plummeting, and I was really
dejected, but I never gave up hope. This was my 6th network
marketing business failure, and though I was hopeful, I was
beginning to lose confidence in network marketing.
I had seen network marketing as my vehicle to a life of financial
and time freedom, and here I was, I had failed 6 times. My
confidence was at its lowest ebb.
One day, while scrolling through , I came across Glory's
advert. I tried to ignore it many times, yet my heart kept pulling me
back to it. Finally, I clicked on it, and I felt a rush of excitement
when I read her advert about Oriflame. I quickly called her, she
introduced me to Mrs Sharon, and that's how I signed up. I was
full of excitement and I was going to shake the world!!
Few days later, I got my catalogue, and after going through it, I lost
all my zeal. I thought, "Me, a full grown man, selling Cosmetics,
lipstick, make up! This is a woman's business!"
For 2 weeks, I did nothing. I was ashamed and embarrassed. I
thought, fail again, 7 times?
I decided to do some research, and I found out other men were
involved and they were doing well. I read of Mr Simeon Saidi, Kunle
Ayuba, etc. I felt encouraged.
I said before I quit, I'll show the catalogue to 3 people as the
company says, if they say no?.....
Well, I took the catalogue to the office the following week, and as
God will have it, the first person I showed it to, said yes and
decided to join!! I was amazed!! Not only that, she signed up 3 of
our colleagues the same day!! I was inspired!!
Suddenly, the fire rose within me and I went on a recruiting spree!
Today, several months later, I'm still in the business, about to
close the Director title and open up Gold and Senior Gold titles.
I have a team of almost 300 consultants and growing everyday.
I have not accomplished my goals yet, but I'm on my way and I'm
moving very fast!!
Why did we decide to share this story?
So that you will understand that anyone can succeed in Oriflame
regardless of your current circumstances. This business is not a
respecter of gender, age, race, education status,etc.
Anyone with enough desire can start this business and succeed
immensely irrespective of whatever challenges they're faced with!!
