REPORTING TO: The Head of Business

JOB SUMMARY

· working with creative heads to devise an advertising campaign that meets the client’s brief and budget;
· meeting and liaising with clients to discuss and identify their advertising requirements;
· presenting campaign ideas and budget to the client.
· Assisting with the formulation of marketing strategies.
· liaising with, and acting as the link between, the client and advertising agency by maintaining regular contact with both, ensuring that communication flows effectively;
· negotiating with clients about the details of campaigns;
· presenting creative work to clients for approval or modification;
· handling budgets, managing campaign costs and invoicing clients;
· writing client reports;
· monitoring the effectiveness of campaigns;
· undertaking administration tasks;
· arranging and attending meetings;
· making ‘pitches’, to try to win new business for the organization.
AGE RANGE
22- 45

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE FOR THE POSITION
• Good organizational and negotiation skills
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Ability to work with all kinds of clients and build strong relationships with them

* Exceptional business sense, marketing, time management, budgeting and prioritizing skills.
* Candidate must be confident, creative, and be able to make proper presentations.
* Must have a professional demeanor.


RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
• 2- 5 years experience as an advert executive in the prints media.

QUALIFICATION
A Bachelor’s/ associate degree in Marketing or an advertising related field.
Professional membership with registered advertising body will be of added advantage.

Please note that each candidate must be able to give an account of how he/she has been able to meet secure clients and meet the sales revenue. The candidate should also have a database of potential clients which he/she has gathered over the years.
