SUPERVISOR

QUALIFICATION:

B.Sc/HND/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering addition qualification is an advantage

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Qualify candidates are to report to the production manager.
  • The summary of the job include Supervise production line operation in accordance with plant policies and procedures. Ensure smooth production operation during shift.
  • Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Supervises a team of staff, coordinating the daily provision and activities
  • Responsible for planning and execution of projects as per given specifications
  • Responsible for day to day works in section
  • Co-ordination with various work groups
  • Responsible for reporting to Production Manager
  • Conversant with technical drawings
  • Supervise production line operation in accordance with plant policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate production start-ups, shutdowns, and changeovers
  • Responsible to meet shift production goals.
  • Responsible for staff scheduling to include: work assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations.
  • Coach and provide career development advice to staff
  • Responsible for quality of product. Make adjustments as necessary during shift to produce product within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications.
  • Operate within standard operating procedures (SOP) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
  • Communicate with other Shift Supervisors and Production Manager
  • Serve on committees and teams as department representative
  • Ensure a clean and safe work area.
  • Complete shift paper work.

EXPERIENCE:Minimum 3years professional experience and 2years exp. in Genset assembly
