Role:
Learning & Development/Business Development Manager

Work Hours:
Usual work office hours, from Monday to Friday. The job also involves travelling to visit clients and attending corporate entertainment events. Sometimes you may need to work more flexible hours, maybe to cover residential courses or workshops.

Job is office-based, but also expected to travel between company sites or to training venues.

For training and development, a range of qualities is needed, most importantly:
Excellent communication skills
The ability to relate to staff at all levels

Organisational skills and time management skills
Presentation skills
Effective negotiating skills
The ability to write reports, keep records, and work within budgets
Computer skills.


As a business development manager, the following is needed:
Good business sense
Understanding about their market and competitors' products
Good communications skills, both writing and verbally
Self-motivated but able to work as part of a team
Good organisational and time-management skills
A positive attitude
Good negotiation skills and persuasiveness
Confidence presenting to large groups of people
Initiative and enterprise
Effective leadership
Trustworthiness and discretion when handling confidential information
A smart appearance and professional manner
To enjoy networking and meeting new people.

Reporting line:
Direct reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.

Professional Experience Required:
At least three (3) years in HR with wide experience in Learning & Development (training). Candidates must have experience in training facilitation, organizing trainings, developing training curriculum etc.
A few months in a business development/Marketing role will be an added advantage; ( A FEMALE IS PREFFERED)

Candidates must be proficient in the use of MS Office especially MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
