Infrastructural Engineers
Infrastructural engineers will be required to project manage and supervise the Consultant, involved in the preparation of the Master Plan for the provision of infrastructures required. These engineers will address, supervise and project manage the following areas:
a. The means of collecting and distributing water for domestic, industrial, commercial and fire fighting, including sources and storage areas to be accessed as recommended in the Master Plan.
b. 'To evaluate the design and processes recommended by the Contractor/ Consultant in the Master Plan for disposing solid wastes.
c. To vet and recommend the best strategy and technology suitable for the required power and other services including the design of a new Gas Turbine plant and power distribution systems; and cooperate with the financial analysis contractor/consultant in the preparation of a financial feasibility for the power station. The master plan will also look at the possibility, feasibility and profitability of this on site power station.
d. Evaluation of available telecommunications systems will be undertaken to determine the extent and quality of terrestrial and GSM telephones and other telecommunication services required.
e. All on and off-site infrastructures as to roads, water, power telecommunications and the port will also be studied.
