Academic Qualification
A good first degree with a minimum of 5 years experience (at least 2 years in a school environment)

Responsibility
o Maintaining the school accounts, the preparation of Income and Expenditure Statements, Cash Flow Statements and Balance Sheets.
o Preparing annual budget and supervising income and expenditure relating to it
o Preparing and collecting student fees and other dues
o Paying salaries, wages, taxation and account.
o The keeping of analyses of costs and other statistical records; the keeping of records relating to employees particularly those required by the Taxation Office and other regulatory bodies
o Maintaining cash flow projections ad investments
o Liaising with relevant government and associated bodies on financial issues
o Advising on the formulation and execution of the school’s business objectives
o Advising on general financial policy
o Advising on and assisting in the selection of administrative computer systems and ensuring that appropriate modules are available and operating to generate all relevant business reports.
o Purchasing
o The supervision of the schools insurance in all forms
o The appointment, organization and supervision of all the work of staff in the financial and business areas.
Knowledge of good HR practices would be an added advantage.
