Sales and Marketing Manager

Our client, a paper company with other sister companies located at Lagos mainland seeks the services of a Sales and Business Manager, who will work with other sister company managers to drive the general organizational goals to attain desired results.

Applicant is expected to have the following uncompromising competencies, knowledge and capabilities to deliver results which will be aligned to organizational vision and targets.

Qualification: A B.Sc. degree in Marketing, Accounting, Business Administration, or other related disciplines; Professional qualification and membership will an identified professional body in Nigeria

Years of Relevant Experience: A minimum of six (6) years relevant experience in either trading, marketing, accounting and business development and expansion

Responsibilities:
  • Trading in paper and paper related products.
  • Building relationship with bank to facilitate and pay back facilities.
  • Drive profitability to an agreed percentage
  • Increase customer base to an agreed percentage
  • Guard against miss use of paper by the sister company into production
  • Manage team mates and subordinates to deliver value
  • Work with other managers in ensuring efficiency
  • Creation of functional standard operating procedure

Person Summary: Applicant must have:
Accounting background and ability to relate with bank
Trading background and flair for trading
A good knowledge for paper
Ability to trade profitably.
Ability to market
Planning, organizing, monitoring and controlling skills
Effective Written and oral communication
Team playing and sound interpersonal skills
Ability to delegate and manage people to meet targets
Sound leadership and excellent skills
