Saipem Contracting Nigeria Limited (SCNL) is a subsidiary of SAIPEM s.p.a , a global leader in Engineering, Procurement, Installation and Construction. Due to the expansion of our operations in Nigeria, we are seeking for highly qualified professionals, pro-active, fast learning, well organized and motivated resources for the position below:

Job Title: Internal Communication Specialist (ICS)
Location: Lagos (with frequent travel to Port Harcourt)
Reporting to: Human Resource Manager/Group Logistics Co-ordinator
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and implements initiatives/tools to promote communication within the Saipem
• Shall be responsible for the company internal magazine(s) such as Mono and other news letters
• Edit the intranet and implements new areas
• Work with individual departments to deal with specific communication needs
• Manage internal events and functions within the company.
• Shall be responsible for branding of the company and act as media interface where necessary.

Qualification, Experience and Requirements.

• Minimum of 3 year experience in a similar position
• University degree in any social science discipline preferably Mass Communication or Journalism
• Ability to communicate fluently in English (both written and oral)
• Computer literacy is a must. He/she must have exceptional knowledge of web publishing.
• Position shall require frequent travels with short notice period and as such, successful candidate must be willing to travel at short notice.
