NTA-STAR TV Network LTD was co-funded by StarTimes and Nigerian Television Authority. With total investment reaching nearly $1 billion, the NTA-STAR plans to cover the whole nation of Nigeria with DTV system within five years. At present, the construction of digital TV head-end, satellite up-link station and satellite reception array have been completed in Abuja, Lagos, Kano. The company started operation the Pay-TV business on April 1, 2010 and now transmits 40 channels, 25% of which are local channels. To meet the requirement of fast development of our business, the following candidate are urgently needed;


Marketing Director(MD)/Manager:

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Marketing Director is responsible for the output of excellent brand communications and creative strategies. The Marketing Director must use his/her experience of the discipline to drive constant improvement. The job scope covers: development of customer insights, development of brand communication strategies, supervision and execution of overall marketing campaigns, management of overall financials.

The specific responsibilities of the MD include, but are not limited to the following:
1. Supervision and development of direct reports
2. Overall brand strategy and tactics
3. Leadership of marketing team to achieve communication objectives
4. Driving organic growth
5. Creative and Strategic Review
6. Strategic Planning
7. Campaign Analysis
8. New Business Assistance as needed
9. Responsible for profitability for our business
10. Review and approve invoices and cost estimates

Requirement?
1. Strong leadership skills
2. Effective oral and written communications (English) Strong strategic development skills
3. Strong creative judgment
4. Strong project management skills Excellent organizational skills
5. 5-year working experience in Marketing, previous experience in Advert Agencies, Telecoms, Pay-TV, Media

Creative Director/ Artist

JOB DESCRIPTION (The specific responsibilities of the candidates include but not limit to the following):
1. Responsible for the development execution of creative strategy.
2. Ability to create designs that would increase sales output
3. Presenting creative works that would enable efficient communication of the brand to public and consumers.
4. Far-sighted, deep-thinking and accurate with good understanding of the philosophy and practice of "Brand Stewardship"

Personal skills requirement:
1. Fluency in English is required
2. Good understanding of the psychology of the local people.
3. Minimum of 2 years working experience in relevant industry
4. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Minimum of a B.A./B.SC/HND Qualification (Second Class Lower
6. Previous experience in Advert Agencies, Telecoms, Pay-TV, Media would be an advantage.




Media Planner and Executive

Job Description (The specific responsibilities of the candidates include but not limit to the following):
