(1) POSITION: GENERAL MANAGER, PRODUCTION THE JOB: Reports to the Executive Director, Corporate Services. Oversees the production process, drawing up a production schedule, ensuring production is cost effective, ensuring that products are produced on time, working out the human & material resources needed, drafting timescale for the job, estimating costs& setting standards, monitoring the production processes & adjusting schedules as needed, responsible for selection & maintenance of equipment, monitoring product standards & implementing quality control programmes, ensuring that health & safety guidelines are followed and identifying training needs. QUALIFICATION: A good B Sc in Chemistry, Industrial Technology, Materials Technology & Mech. Engineering. A higher degree is an added advantage. Be responsible for conditions of service, recruitment, training & development, documentation, staff welfare. QUALIFICATION:A good university degree in Mgt. or related field. An MBA or M.Sc in Mgt. will be an added advantage. THE PERSON:Proactive, self motivating, excellent interpersonal & communication skills, diplomatic and negotiation skills, outstanding organizational skills, knowledge of Nigerian employment legislation, ability to work with personnel from all levels, IT skills, adequate numerical & budgeting skills and good team leadership skills. EXPERIENCE:5-10 years of progressive management experience in corporate environment is necessary and must not be above 40 years of age. SALARY: Very competitive (3) POSITION:PROCUREMENT OFFICER THE JOB:Reports to the Executive Director, Corporate Services. Prepares purchase orders, responds to customer & supplier enquiries, reviews requisition orders to verify accuracy, specifications & terminology and comparing of prices, specifications& delivery dates to determine the best bid among potential suppliers, prepare, maintain & review purchase files, report price lists, track the status of requisitions, contracts and orders, locate suppliers, monitor contractor performance, and calculate the costs of orders, charge or forward invoices to the appropriate accounts, monitor in- house inventory transfers forms for bookkeeping records and maintains inventory levels. QUALIFICATION:A good degree in Business Admin., Public Admin., Finance, Economics and Engineering is a requirement. THE PERSON:Proactive, good computer skills, good communication skills, decision making skills, management skills, interpersonal & interpretation skills, computational skills and must be conversant with chemicals and raw materials for the manufacturing of paints. EXPERIENCE:5-10 years of cognate experience in industrial based procurement and must not be above 38 years of age.
