Our client is a successful indigenous manufacturing company that specializes in construction, dredging and lifting materials. They have been around for 50 years. Due to rebranding and expansion, they are now looking to recruit well rounded and articulate individuals for the vacancies listed below. The successful candidates will be expected to drive the unit or business in line with the company’s goals and vision and at the same time achieving and maximizing sales and potential growth.

1.SALES EXECUTIVES
The sales executive will be expected to drive a team. There are 4 vacancies for this position, 2 sales executives for PH managing two zones the other 2 will be in Lagos managing 2 regions. He /she will be responsible for planning and prioritizing sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims.

Responsibilities:
• Plan and manage business portfolios according to an agreed market development strategy
• Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
• Use customer and prospect contact activities tools and systems, and update relevant information held in these systems.
• Plan and implement local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales, and integrate sales efforts with other organized marketing activities, e.g., product launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions and telemarketing.
• Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
• Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
• Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
• Develop sales presentations at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development.

Requirements:
• Must have a minimum of 3 years working experience in manufacturing company or FCMG
• Must have the relevant educational background is sales or its equivalent.
• Must have people management skills
• Must be a team leader
• Must have a proven track record of sales achievements
• Must be willing to travel.





2. HEADS OF SALES
Purpose of the Job:
• Developing and executing sales strategies and tactics that maximize the company’s opportunities within the customer environment.
• Build executive relationships within client base - articulates business strategies and the company’s products, creates the demand and lead customer discussions to advance the sales process.
• Work independently to meet agreed targets and develop sales plans for the accounts in line with company strategy.
• Over see all sales activities within the department. The successive candidate will manage the sales executives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Present and lead customer discussions to advance the sales process.
• Define, communicate and implement the Go to Market strategy for allocated segment - ensure that sales targets are met or exceeded in marketplace.
• Ensure a high degree of Customer satisfaction for the company’s products.
• Develop and deliver accurate revenue forecasts in line with business objectives. Interacts with the team, to effectively leverage the company’s value proposition
• Proactively act to understand client needs and identity the relevant product to be used.
• Actively create business opportunities.
• Work independently to meet agreed targets.
• Develop sales plans for own accounts in line with company strategy.
• Influence the sales department to achieve their sales goals.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Requires a minimum tertiary qualification in business, management, or Sales course; Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent
• A minimum of 4-5 years sales experience in high growth FCMG or Manufacturing Company.
• Sales experience in construction or oil and Gas Company is desired.
• Very patient – to cope with long lead generation and development while at the same time can cope with fast pace weekly sales cycle.
• Ability to develop relationships within assigned accounts.

3. BRANCH MANAGERThe branch Manager will lead the business while focussing primarily on sales Management, the integration of the three disciplines (branch support, service and sales). The successful candidate will manage the S/S region which covers Warri and PH

Responsibilities:
• Develop micro marketing sales plans to achieve sales budget/targets for the branch.
• Gain a sound understanding and keep up to date with developments of the local market segments.
• Coach the sales team on product knowledge and making the most of cross-selling opportunities.
• Will be mobile to monitor and maintain the Ph and warri branches.
• Manage and oversee the integration of sales, service, branch support and other functions.
• Develop and maintain an effective networking mechanism with support divisions such as IT, Human Resources and Marketing.

People Management:
• Effectively delegate authority and responsibility in line with business objectives to ensure the empowerment, motivation and effectiveness of all immediate subordinates.
• Monitor and manage the sales performance and development of the branch staff.
• Foster an entrepreneurial approach to the business by way of example.
• Develop and maintain an open communication channel with immediate subordinates and support staff to foster teamwork and facilitate the change process.
• Coach for business performance within the branch.
• Support and identify training interventions to address performance/development gaps.

Experience and requirements:
• Must have a tertiary education with relevance to the related field.
• Must have a minimum of 4 years experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing when interpreting and explaining information relating to business plans, strategy, product benefits, service provision etc. to branch staff and customers.
• Good presentation and negotiation skills.
• Ability to convey factual information clearly.
• Ability to question, probe and clarify information in a diplomatic manner.
• People management skills, including teambuilding, motivation, team goal planning.
• Socially confident, quick to establish rapport, able to maintain good relations even when communicating disagreeable information to customers.
