Our client, a mid-sized manufacturing company with annual turnover of about a billion Naira based in Ota in Ogun state needs a HR/Admin Manager.

Responsibilities:
• Set up New Admin and HR Dept.
• Initiate policies relating to HR and Admin
• Develop and maintain an inventory of organizations assets and keep adequate records in terms of disposal, movement verification, maintenance etc
• Liaise with vendors/suppliers to develop maintenance schedules such as generator, air conditioners, office equipment, vehicles etc
• Liaise with cleaning and waste disposal agents to ensure proper and satisfactory cleaning, and effective disposal of waste products
• Ensure prompt payments of telephone and power bills and other government rates
• Investigate reported cases of breach of security and recommend appropriate action for management action.
• Ensure proper documentation from HR and Admin and follow up on all procedures
• Review quotations, negotiate supply items including quality, quantity, supply arrangements to ensure optimal value for the organization and develop vendor selection proposal for approval

Qualifications & Experience:
• A good university degree or HND in any of the Humanities, Social Sciences or Sciences. An MBA will be an advantage
• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position
