We are an indigenous Logistics and Supply Chain Managers with head office in Lagos. Due to expansion and restructuring, we require the services of experienced individual to drive our restructured Health Safety and Environment (HS&E) BUSINESS unit.

HS&E COORDINATOR
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure safe work environment and hygiene
Prepare and coordinate the health and safety audit, and the audit process.
Implements occupational health and safety programs
Prepare and coordinate effective implementation of health and safety strategies
Carrying out risk assessment and how it could be mitigated
Managing and organizing the safe disposal of waste substances
Maintain effective communication with office staff with health and safety responsibilities
Monitor safety performance through internal audits and develop the Line Managers proactive
Reporting system
Maintain a system for recording, reporting and investigating injuries, accidents and dangerous occurrences. Provide statistical summaries to the Executive Management and draw attention to significant trends and occurrences.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Knowledge of supervisory practices and principles.
• Knowledge of the principles and practices of occupational safety.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing Health, safety and environment issues procedures and policies.
• Skill in developing safety policies.
• Skill in investigating and analyzing accidents and their causes.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor degree or HND preferably in Industrial Safety Management, Environmental Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. Any professional programme on safety and Health administration will be an added advantage Minimum of 3 years working experience in related field is also required.
