Glo Gateway
Globacom Limited is Nigeria’s Second National Operator Providing GSM, Fixed, Broadband and Gateway services with subsidiaries in Nigeria, Republic of Benin, Ghana and other West African countries.
The company needs capable professionals who can fill various positions in Glo 1 and Glo Gateway. The positions attract internationally competitive remuneration.

General Qualifications:
• Relevant University degrees are required for all positions.
• For the technical positions, a degree in Electrical / Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering is preferred, while for non-technical positions a degree in Economics, Marketing or Business related discipline is preferred.
• Relevant post graduate or professional qualification will be an added advantage.


A. GLO 1 VACANCIES
1. HEAD, PRODUCTS & SERVICES REF: HP/S
Experience
• 18-20 years with at least 5 years at a senior level in a leading telecoms /ISP company.
2. ACCESS PRODUCT MANAGER REF: APM
Experience:
• 7-12 years experience in a leading telecoms/ISP company with at least 5 years relevant experience as Data Products Manager for a telecom company
• Strong relevant technical competencies in data products and carrier access.
3. INTERNET DATA CENTRE (IDC) AND MANAGED SERVICES MANAGER REF:IDCM
Experience:
• 9-12 years experience in a leading telecoms/ISP company with at least 4 years as Product Manager for Data Centre and Managed Services.
• Strong relevant technical competencies in IDC space with leading Telecoms or ISP company
4. APPLICATION AND CONTENT SERVICES MANAGER REF: ACSM
Experience:
• 7-10 years experience in a leading telecoms/ISP company with at least 5 years in content development.
5. BUSINESS PLANNING AND ANALYSIS MANAGER REF: BPAM
Experience:
• 7-11 years experience in a leading telecoms/ISP company with at least 4 years in Business planning.
6. HEAD, SALES REF: STDM
Experience
• 15-20 years experience in handling international data business, selling to global carriers and managing enterprise businesses.
• Good experience in selling high end data solutions like video/audio conferencing.
7. GLOBAL SALES MANAGER:

b) USA REF:GSM/USA
Experience
• 10 – 12 years experience in handling international voice and data Experience in selling for global carriers in UK, EU & USA.
• Good experience in selling high end data solutions like IPLC, IP Transient, Global MPLS, Data Centers and video/audio conferencing.
8. HEAD, WIFI SALES REF: HWIFI
Experience:
• 14-18 years experience in a leading telecoms/ISP company with at least 5 years at a senior level.
• Strong relevant technical competencies in WiFi domain.
9. WIFI NETWORK SPECIALIST REF: SWIFI
Experience:
• 7-10 years experience in a leading telecoms/ISP company with at least 3 years as a WiFi Network Specialist.
• Strong relevant technical competencies in WiFi domain.
• Must have experience in setting up WiFi Networks or WiFi Hot spots.
10. SOLUTION ARCHITECT WIFI REF: SAWIFI
Experience
• 5-9 years experience in a leading telecoms/ISP company with at least 3 years in setting up a WiFi Network.
• Strong relevant technical competencies in WiFi domain.
• Strong retail & franchisee management skills and experience will be an added advantage.
11. HEAD, SOLUTIONS & SUPPORT REF: HSS
Experience:
• 10-14 years experience with the last 5 years at a senior level in a leading telecoms/ISP company
• Strong relevant technical competencies in data services solutions at front line and supervisory levels.
12. TECHNICAL SUPPORT REF: TSE/M
Experience:
• 3-8 years data solution building and high level experience in techno commercial proposals and designing connectivity solutions for customers.
• Additional certifications from Cisco/Nortel/Avaya and Microsoft will be a key advantage.
13. PROGRAM COORDINATOR REF: PC
Experience:
• 7-10 years experience in Program Management in a leading telecoms/ISP company.
• Additional certifications such as PMB (Project Management Professionals) certification and or certifications from Cisco/Nortel/Avaya and Microsoft will be a key advantage.
14. SALES MIS AND COORDINATION MANAGER REF: SMISM
Experience:
• 7-10 years experience in Program Management in a leading telecoms/ISP company.
15. SALES TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGER REF: STDM
Experience:
• 11-14 years sales experience out of which 3-4 years should be in training
16. HEAD ENTERPRISE CUSTOMER SERVIVE REF: HECS
Experience:
• 8-12 years experience with at least 4 years relevant experience in a leading carrier and broadband company.
17. BILLING AND PAYMENT MANAGER REF: BPM
Experience:
• 3-6 years billing and payment management experience in a leading telecoms/ISP company.
• Good knowledge and exposure of accounting and billing software packages
18. CREDIT CONTROL COLLECTIONS MANAGER REF: CCCM
Experience:
• 5-8 years cognate experience in credit control Management in a leading telecoms/ISP company.
• Good knowledge of and exposure of accounting and billing software packages

Experience:
• 14-18 years of experience with a minimum of 3 years in an international voice wholesale/retail business.
• Working experience with international telecom carriers will be an added advantage.
• Proficient in MS Excel , PowerPoint and MS Access.
20. INTERNATIONAL CARRIER BUSINESS EXECUTIVE REF: ICBM
Experience:
• 4 to 7 years of experience with a minimum of 2 years in an international voice wholesale/retail business.
• Working experience with international telecom carriers will be an added advantage.
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and MS Access.

21. INTERNATIONAL CALLING CARD MANAGER REF: ICCM
Experience:
• 11-14 yearscognate experience with a minimum of 3 years in handling international calling cards.
• Proficient in MS Excel , PowerPoint and MS Access.
22. HEAD, TECHNICAL REF: THG
Experience:
• 15-18 years of experience with a minimum of 3 years in a senior technical jobs in Nigeria for an international voice wholesale/retail business.
• Good exposure in managing VSAT network and operations.
• Good working knowledge on high and Cisco/Juniper Routers, digital cross connect equipment, compression equipment, international engineering and signaling protocol.
23. LEGAL COUNSEL REF: LC
Qualifications
• Bachelor of Law Degree from a recognized University
• Call to Bar Certificate
• Post graduate degree will be an added advantage
Experience
• Minimum of 10 years post call to bar experience.
• Experience in cross border transactions
• Experience in a multinational environment and / or taxation related issues would be an advantage.
