DELTA STATE GOVERNMENT (DTSG) UNDERGRADUATE AND POST GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP (MASTERS’ & PHD) IN NIGERIAN UNIVERSITY
This is to inform the General Public and Deltans in particular that the Delta State Government has limited vacancies for Undergraduate and Post Graduate Scholarship (Masters’ & PhD) in Nigerian Universities.
Interested candidates should visit the following institutions/Commercial houses to purchase the scratch cards at N300.00 and apply on-line:
UBA Plc,
Oceanic Bank Plc,
Bank PHB Plc,
Delta State Bursary & Scholarship Board, Asaba.
Eligibility:
1. For undergraduate
Candidates must be of Delta State Origin
Must be in 200 level
Must have a CGPA of 3.5 and above
2 For Masters Degree
Candidates must be of Delta State Origin;
Candidates must possess at least a second class degree from any approved University; or upper credit in case of Polytechnic graduates;
N.Y.S.C discharge certificate or letter of exemption;
Must be in Nigeria University.
3. For Ph.D.
Candidates must possess a good Masters degree from a reputable institution, registrable at Ph.D level;
Evidence of admission in any Nigeria University.
Closing Date: 15th August, 2010
Shortlisted Candidates:
Candidates will be listed on our website as from 18th August, 2010
Shortlisted candidates are expected to come to the center with the original copy of the duly completed application form for qualifying examination on the 28th August, 2010.

Guess it's no scholarship at all at the end of the day cos we must have succeeded in contributing sufficient funds to sponsor the 'very few' that would be picked after all has been said and done. This looks like a LOTTERY to me. When will we GROW UP in this country?...
