CLEANING MANAGER
Our Client, a Company that provides Cleaning and Janitorial Services requires urgently, a Cleaning Supervisor
The position plays a lead role in supervising, managing and assigning tasks to staff or janitors.

• Co-ordinate, direct and monitor the cleaning operatives in their duties of dusting, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming, cleaning walls, floors, furniture and fitting by use of manual and electrically powered tools and equipment.

• Regularly visit buildings, to monitor standard of cleanliness, to establish and implement ways to improve and meet the evolving domestic needs of the company.

• Provide training to new staff in relation to expected standards and quality of general cleaning, and health and safety requirement, particularly regarding the operation of equipment and manual handling.

• Maintain supplies of cleaning materials and equipment, keeping check of what will be required and place order to maintain stock levels.

• Communicate with staff at all levels appropriately, including having team briefings and passing on information to cleaners verbally, in person, on the telephone.

• To assist in the advertisement for, interviewing and employment of, new and replacement cleaning operatives, as required, having first agreed such requirements with the Personnel Department.

• To ensure that all cleaning operatives are adequately trained to an acceptable level, commensurate with the duties they are to perform.

• To ensure that cleaning materials are used in a safe manner and are kept secure.

• To liaise with the Facilities Manager on a regular basis, dealing effectively with any problems or complaints that may arise.

The right candidate must have a minimum of OND and at least 3 years experience in a similar position with a reputable Cleaning Company.
