STORE MANAGER
JOB PURPOSE / SPECIFICATION
To plan optimal strategies for receiving and issuing materials/parts for smooth plant operation
To ensure that materials and parts are received and issued within the company’s standard procedures
To ensure necessary precautions are taken to secure goods in the stores/warehouse against loss
To ensure effective and efficient management of manpower, process and stock control
To regularly update the stock control system and working procedure
To plan for future storage capacity and periodic check of existing facilities in order to keep them in good condition
To monitor store operation and maintain work/material distribution equity to achieve the set productivity target
To participate in the recruitment and selection for the store
To ensure continuous training ad development of store personnel and also put in place a succession plan
To ensure security, health and safety standards are in place in the sore environment

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
B.SC/HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Professional certificate in store management would be an added advantage
Must be computer literate and conversant with Autocad
Must possess good analytical, motivational and leadership skills
Must be able to effectively delegate duties and transfer knowledge
Must be conversant with software and modern inventory management techniques
Must be able to work under pressure with timely delivery on assignment
At least 7 years of cognate experience in manufacturing/cement industry with at least 4 years experience in supply chain and ERP systems

REMUNERATION:
Our client pays above average market rate and is willing to pay enough to attract best candidates for the jobs
