What brought up the issue was each time I logged in to naijahotjob I always have a look at those on site and I notice some names that make me wonder what the indivdual was thinking when he/she forms the name.
today I saw ciicii,p4p,posion etc.

Re: What is the driving force behind your name
Actually, mine is a very funny one.Myself and my twin brother,i want to believe hv the highest number of nicknames in this country,if not beyond.
It all started wen we were like 4years old, people called both of us "THE MANGOES" dat i want to believe was coined out d name of those popular twin wrestler,in the late 70's and early 80's.In our primary school,we were called nicknames like "AFIN"(which means Albino in english lang),"JAJA OF OPKOBO".Actually my twin brother was called "JAJA OF OKPOBO"reasons well known to them. But each time peo see me,dey also called me "JAJA OF OKPOBO"cos we're somehow identical den.At the tale end of our primary sch period,i was also nicknamed "MARADONA" cos i dribble without mercy wen it comes to football.
Our secondary period was another phase entirely,in d junior secondary section,i was nicknamed "ESE IKA"(Bad leg)by my closesest frend cos of the way i moved fast wen playing football. My bro was nicknamed "ORI" (Head)cos he has a protruding skull.During our jss 2-3 period,we're both nicknamed "MR SPENCER" cos we're very very jofier as well.During our senior sec sch period,i was personally nicknamed "EFIKO"(Brilliant chap)cos i was in science class den, separated from my brother. While in my street i was nicknamed "KENNY GEE"(Gotten from my name) even up to this moment.
During my university period,i was nicknamed "STONECOLD"by a frend cos of my hair style.I was also given name such as "MOG"(Man of God in the Ministry of God,doing the Mind of God). The nickname "STONECOLD" was so popular wen on campus so much that many want to meet me.
Even so painful, that so many of my classmate neva knw my real name tru out the 6 to 7 years we spent all 2gether.
During my NYSC period i was nicknamed a name i neva barging 4.I was nicknamed "ETO PHILS",just simply becos i clamored to play 4 my platoon with one hand.I was having a serious injury on my rit hand then.D next tin i heard from my back was, leave him his our top striker,is our samuel eto.Dat was hw d nickname "ETO PHILS" came into existence.
In all i neva nicknamed myself neither my brother either.People just look at us and nicname us immediately or after sometime. At the initial stage,i always cry and fight people about it,cos i sometimes dont like it wen people call me some of those names. But then i realised that the more u fight,d more people call u the name.So i just allow nature to take its place.Presently,my colleagues at work are calling me something else now, which am really frowning at,cos i dont knw wat really prompt such name.Is a really big one i must tell u,am just saying amen to it cos the person in question is very rich but.............................
