Co-ordinates : Accounts and Logistics, Marketing Manager
Position report into : Head Sales & Marketing


The Sales Manager shall be fully responsible for the preparation, implementation and review of the Sales plan for his designated area.
He shall lead a team of Sales Representatives under him and be Accountable for Channel sales, Retail operations as business operations.
Daily monitoring of secondary sales and productivity of sales team at retail, wholesale and direct sales operations.
Market Development – consolidation of existing areas covered and expansion into new areas
Approval / Appointment of Distributors and monitoring their billing frequency.

Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly Distributor sales performance reviews.
• Provide Structured Market Feedback.
• Co-ordination between various activities.
Ensuring proper implementation of all marketing activities – promotions, schemes, new product launches

•Tracking competitor activities & providing valuable inputs & new features addition for fine tuning the selling and the marketing strategies.

Soft skills required:

Good communication: To appoint and deal with the distributors, retail trade and the merchandisers/vendors on day-to-day basis.

Controlling and guiding skills: To manage Delivery Van/drivers/salesmen & Managers

Good relationship skills: To maintain good and business relationship with trade. He needs to deals with them with a cool head and lot of patience. He should be a good team player.

Leadership skills: He has to lead team of merchandisersand help them in achieving their targets. Also he needs to help the distributors in his area to grow their business.
