Topic: stem cell and human cloning

Recently, obama has approved the stem cell research which has always generate controversy at the international scene. what it means is that opportunities will be open for the cure of diseases like parkinson symdrom,stroke,alzheimer,cancer,heart , liver ,kidney diseases etc which have been a subject of concern in the health sector. it will certainly be a milestone achievement in technological advancement.
however, what it also means is that advanced studies will also lead to using the stem cell to clone a whole human being-making man to look like "GOD" this may not appear real for now but as knowlege increase at this time...man will begin to do what erswhile he could not do before...
is this not a perilous time? will this event not herald the vexation of God when man starts creating human being? WHAT IS THE VIEW OF THE HOUSE!!!!!!

It's not true. Cloning human beings is forbidden in almost all countries including US. There are 2 forms of cloning Somatic cloning and germ line cloning, what is allowed is only somatic cloning which would eventually lead to tissues for transplant as you rightly said (Kidney, Heart, Spinal Cord replacement e.t.c).

Germ line cloning is the one that clones a whole human which is not allowed. What should be disturbing you is that the embryonic stem cells will be gotten from pre-developed foetus meaning destruction of supposed babies.
